A CORNERSTONE OFFERING
Threshold Conversations
A Place to Hear Yourself Again
A dedicated space for thoughtful reflection, perspective, and discovery as we navigate life’s ongoing transitions.
What a Threshold Conversation Offers
A Threshold Conversation is for someone who feels stuck, is standing at a point of change, or senses that something needs attention but cannot yet see it clearly. You are given room to think out loud without judgment, pressure, or the expectation that you must already know the answer.
Not every Threshold Conversation begins with a crisis, major decision, or clearly defined transition. Some people return weekly, every two weeks, or monthly because they value a dependable place to take stock, notice patterns, consider new perspectives, and remain connected to what matters. The conversation can support ongoing reflection and personal maintenance just as readily as a particular threshold or period of change.
Deep, attentive conversation and thoughtful questions
Clarity about what may be happening beneath the immediate question
Recognition of patterns, tensions, transitions, competing needs, and choices
Language for an experience that has been difficult to name
Exploration of meaning, values, identity, relationship, grief, change, or spiritual questions
Room to recognize what feels true and what your next movement might be
Deep Listening—and Active Engagement
Deep listening is part of the work, but it is not the whole of it. If you have already spent considerable time thinking, trying different approaches, or circling the same question, you may not need another place where you are simply encouraged to keep talking.
I engage actively—asking focused questions, reflecting patterns and contradictions, offering observations and fresh perspectives, and, when welcome, helping generate possibilities or approaches you may not have considered. You remain the authority on your life, but you do not have to do all of the seeing and thinking alone.
Why ‘Threshold’?
A threshold isn’t merely the doorway out of difficulty. Sometimes the threshold is the point at which you willingly say: I am going to enter this rather than continue walking around it.
A threshold is the place between what has been and what comes next. We meet thresholds not only in major life changes, but whenever an old way no longer quite fits and a new way has not yet become clear. The conversation does not push you across; it offers companionship, perspective, and enough room to hear yourself again.
The Nature of the Work
This is facilitated discovery. I accompany and facilitate; I do not position myself as the authority on your life. My role is to help create the conditions in which you can see more clearly, recognize what you already know, and find a way forward that belongs to you.
I listen deeply and reflect back patterns, tensions, and possibilities that may be difficult to see from inside the situation. The work is responsive to you and to the threshold you are facing. There is no formula and no predetermined conclusion.
What to Expect
A 90-Minute Threshold Conversation
Each conversation has a dependable beginning and ending, while the middle remains responsive to what you bring. A first conversation will generally move through the following arc:
1 — Arrive and settle
10 minutes
We slow down, orient to the space, and take a breath.
2 — Name what brings you
15 minutes
We identify what feels most present and what would make the time meaningful.
3— Explore
45 minutes
Attentive conversation, careful questions, reflection, and pattern recognition.
4 — Integrate and return
20 minutes
We notice what has become clearer and close with grounding and a gentle return.
Practices That May Be Included
With your knowledge and consent, a Threshold Conversation may include:
Grounding or breath awareness
A period of quiet that allows something to settle or become clearer
A short meditation or visualization
Noticing breath, tension, openness, heaviness, or another bodily response as information
Symbolic or ceremonial reflection
A closing practice
A brief period of Reiki agreed upon beforehand
These are not piecemeal add-ons. They are used only when they support the conversation. More substantial Reiki remains a separate service.

A Supportive Rhythm
Every two weeks
Often the most supportive regular rhythm for continuity and integration.
Monthly
Appropriate for continuing reflection, maintenance, or integration.
Weekly
Available when greater continuity would feel useful; it is an option, not the default.
There is no required frequency and no expectation that everyone will need the same rhythm. Continuity is available because reflective work may unfold over time—not because you are entering a clinical treatment plan.

A complimentary 15–20 minute conversation by phone or video offers time to get acquainted, ask questions, and consider whether a Threshold Conversation feels like a good fit. Available appointment formats and locations can also be discussed before booking. You’re welcome exactly as you are.
Before You Book
Payment is required before the appointment.
Please provide at least 24 hours’ notice when cancelling or rescheduling.
Late arrival may shorten the available appointment time.
